The band’s name originates from Claude Lévi-Strauss’ book of "Le Cru et le Cuit", translated from French as “raw”, and that expresses the band’s style – laconic phrases of open, aggressive sax tone embedded into punch bass riffs, ambiance added by electronic drums and synthesizers.
